Real Madrid to Hold Election Vote on June 7

The Electoral Board of Real Madrid must announce the date for the club’s member vote on Monday. The announcement must occur within the fifteen‑day window prescribed by the club’s statutes and electoral regulations.

All indications point to Sunday 7 June as the chosen date. On that day the club’s members will gather in person to cast their ballots.

Members will select between two candidates for the presidency. The candidates are Enrique Riquelme and Florentino Pérez.

Riquelme and Pérez will each present their programmes to the voting members. The outcome will shape the club’s governance for the coming term.
