FC Barcelona considers seeking extra Espai Barça funding

FC Barcelona is accelerating renovation work at Spotify Camp Nou ahead of the summer break, targeting completion of the third tier before installing the roof.

The club is now considering asking its members to approve additional funding for the stadium and Espai Barça project. A decision on whether to propose this at the July extraordinary assembly or wait until the ordinary assembly in early next season remains pending.

A pre-summer meeting of member delegates will ratify new board members and could serve as a platform to introduce the funding extension proposal.

The club has prioritized completing the third tier during the off-season to maintain momentum on the project.
