Ipswich Town's attack boost: Rosie Livingstone signs two‑year deal
Ipswich Town have secured 20‑year‑old Scottish attacker Rosie Livingstone on a permanent two‑year deal, paying an undisclosed fee to Hibernian after she amassed 101 appearances and 22 goals for the Edinburgh club, who debuted at 15 and is known for her aggressive wing play.
The Tractor Girls confirmed the transfer on their official website this afternoon. Livingstone will join the squad at Portman Road under a two‑year contract.
Ipswich paid an undisclosed sum to Hibernian to acquire her services. A product of the Hibs Girls Academy, Livingstone made her senior debut at just 15 years old.
During her time with Hibernian, she recorded 101 senior appearances. She also contributed 22 goals from the wing.
Livingstone is primarily an attack‑minded winger. She can also operate in other areas of the final third when required.
Livingstone said, “I’m so excited to be here and can’t wait to get started.” She continued, “I like to be aggressive, both on and off the ball, and I also enjoy going forward and making things happen.” She concluded, “I just want to contribute as much as I can and hopefully put ourselves in a good position come the end of the season.”
The acquisition marks Ipswich Town’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
