Ireland names 20-player squad for 2026 FIH Nations Cup

Goalkeepers Luke Roleston and James Milliken have been named in Ireland's 20-player squad for the 2026 FIH Hockey Nations Cup in South Africa. Evan Jennings received his first senior international call-up.

The squad includes 18 outfield players alongside the two goalkeepers. Ireland will compete in the tournament starting next month.

Jennings, uncapped at senior level, joins three defenders and five midfielders in the selection. Milliken and Roleston provide goalkeeping depth.

Defenders Jamie Carr and Sean Murray are also included. Midfielders Mark Morrison and Matthew Nelson feature among the outfield players.

Forwards include Conor Empeigne, Lee Healthy, and Stephen Kelly. The squad reflects a blend of experience and emerging talent.

Ireland faces a challenging group with South Africa, Chile, and India in the Nations Cup.
