Jurriën Timber Joins Dutch World Cup Squad Thursday
Jurriën Timber will join the Netherlands national team on Thursday. The Arsenal FC defender, fresh from a groin injury, missed the first preparatory friendly.
The Dutch squad assembled in Zeist today for the first time since the tournament draw. They are targeting a warm‑up match against Algeria in Rotterdam on Wednesday, described as the farewell game.
The following day the group departs for a training camp in New York. They will face Uzbekistan in a friendly on 8 June.

Coach Ronald Koeman and the players travel to Kansas City on 9 June for World Cup group‑stage preparations. The World Cup opens on 14 June with the Netherlands playing Japan in Dallas.
