Torreense to host Europa League at Estádio do Algarve

Torreense will play their 2026/27 UEFA Europa League home matches at Estádio do Algarve. The club confirmed the move via Sporting Director André Sabino on Canal 11’s 'Futebol Total'.

The Estádio do Algarve is over 300km from Torreense’s home ground. The announcement follows UEFA’s approval for the temporary ground-sharing arrangement.

André Sabino stated the club will focus on performance and enjoyment during European fixtures. He emphasized the importance of providing a competitive environment for players and fans.

Torreense’s Europa League campaign will begin in August 2026. The club secured qualification via domestic league standings.

The Estádio do Algarve has previously hosted international and domestic fixtures. Its capacity and facilities meet UEFA’s stadium requirements for European competitions.

Sabino highlighted the financial and logistical challenges of the relocation. He confirmed the club has secured necessary sponsorships to cover additional costs.
