Alexia Putellas to Play Final Barcelona Home Match

Alexia Putellas will play her final home match for FC Barcelona on Wednesday. The match starts at 19:00, broadcast on TV3 and DAZN, against Real Sociedad at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Earlier that day, at 11:00, a ceremony on the Spotify Camp Nou pitch will honor her career. The ceremony will be attended by Rafa Yuste, club president, and Joan Laporta, president‑elect. Putellas will be joined by her teammates, the technical staff, the board, and close family and friends during the ceremony. The event will take place on the same grass where she has trained with Barcelona. The farewell will also feature the presentation of Barcelona’s fourth Champions League trophy, won 4‑0 over OL Lyonnes in Oslo. The trophy will be offered to the supporters as part of the celebration. Over 14 seasons with Barcelona, Putellas amassed 38 trophies. She scored 232 goals in 507 matches. She will travel to London after Wednesday’s events. The events are scheduled before the London challenge.
