Arsenal Premier League parade route announced for Islington
Arsenal will parade the Premier League trophy through Islington on Sunday starting at 14:00 BST. Four open-top buses will lead the procession from the Emirates Stadium area.
The route covers a five-mile loop through Highbury, Canonbury and Upper Street. Fans will return to the Emirates area after completing the loop.
Saturday’s Champions League exit followed a penalty shootout defeat to Paris St-Germain in Budapest. The result ended Arsenal’s European campaign without a trophy.
Sunday’s parade marks the club’s first Premier League title in 19 years. The last victory came in the 2003-04 season under manager Arsène Wenger.
Islington Council approved the parade route on safety grounds. Road closures will be in place from 13:00 BST along the planned path.
The club has invited all season-ticket holders to attend the parade. A public address system will provide live updates during the event.
