Arsenal's race for Greek winger Tzolis could reshape their attack
Greek journalist Dimitris Manakos says Arsenal are in pole position to sign Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, the 24‑year‑old who recorded 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 appearances last season, as the Gunners look to boost their attack this summer.
He featured in 52 matches for Club Brugge across all competitions last season. He contributed 22 goals and 29 assists, making him one of the most productive wide players in the Jupiler Pro League.
At 24, Tzolis is regarded as one of the most talented Greek wingers. His consistent performances on the left flank earned him recognition in his homeland.
His contract with Club Brugge runs until the summer of 2029. This could make a future transfer more costly if Arsenal wait beyond this summer.
Tzolis is a good dribbler who can make driving runs on the flanks and shoot powerfully from distance. He also possesses the vision to create chances and can operate as a left‑winger, right‑winger or centre‑forward.
It remains uncertain whether he can adapt to the physicality and intensity of the Premier League. Nevertheless, he could add quality and depth to Arsenal’s frontline and compete for a regular first‑team spot.
