Benfica duo Schjelderup and Aursnes in Norway World Cup squad
Andreas Schjelderup and Fredrik Aursnes have been called up to the Norway squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The call‑up was announced on Thursday as part of the final 26‑player list.
Norway’s national team coach Stale Solbakken released the final roster on Thursday. The list comprises 26 players selected to represent the country at the upcoming tournament.
Both Schjelderup and Aursnes are contracted to Portuguese club Benfica. Their inclusion highlights the club’s representation in the Norwegian national team.
