Inter to collect €30m from three player sales
Inter will receive roughly €30m from three permanent transfers this window. Denzel Dumfries is set to join Real Madrid for €20m, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro will move to Pisa for €6m, and Sebastiano Esposito is slated for Cagliari at €4m.
Dumfries, a right wing‑back, activated his release clause after five seasons in Italy. During that time he won two league titles, three Coppa Italia medals, three Supercoppa Italiana trophies and featured in two Champions League finals. Sporting director Piero Ausilio said the deal is now essentially official.
Akinsanmiro, the 21‑year‑old Nigeria international, spent the season on loan at Pisa. Pisa exercised their option to sign him permanently, generating €6m for Inter, while Inter retained a €7.5m buy‑back option.
Esposito’s move to Cagliari will trigger a €4m fee, and Inter will secure a sell‑on clause estimated at 40‑50% of any future transfer.
Inter’s summer spending plan follows their Scudetto and Coppa Italia double under coach Cristian Chivu in 2025‑26. The club’s current leading targets include Marco Palestra and Oumar Solet, pending the completion of these sales.
