Juventus chase Kessie as Nico Paz sparks €60m auction

🇮🇹 1 uur geleden

On Friday, June 26, Italy’s leading sports dailies highlighted Juventus’ interest in Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie and a €60 million auction for Argentine forward Nico Paz, while AC Milan pursued Goncalo Ramos and other clubs lined up their own transfer targets in the market.

La dello Sport placed AC Milan’s chase for Goncalo Ramos on its front page, captioned “Il 9 è Ramos”. The paper reported the Paris Saint-Germain forward commands a €45 million fee and is the Rossoneri’s primary striker target.

The same edition featured Nico Paz with the headline “Paz vuole l’Inter”. It noted Real Madrid have reclaimed the Argentine from Como, an auction is set at €60 million, and Inter are prepared to go all‑in if Oaktree backs the move.

A sidebar confirmed Antonio Conte as Italy’s new head coach. Bologna were linked with Lorenzo Lucca, and Juventus were reported to be considering a return for Kolo Muani.

Corriere dello Sport echoed the Paz story under the banner “vendita libera”. It confirmed Real Madrid rejected another loan request from Como, with Florentino Perez effectively opening the market, while Inter were described as frontrunners and Marotta hoped to use Oaktree’s budget earmarked for Palestra.

Elsewhere, Juventus were said to be pushing for Muharemovic with Carnevali driving the deal. Napoli were pursuing Richard Rios from Benfica as a potential alternative to Kessie.

Greenwood was described as “solo Roma”, implying only Roma remain interested, with Gasperini and Mason having forged a strong alliance.

Tuttosport warned that Premier League clubs could outbid Inter for Paz, citing English teams with deeper pockets and specifically mentioning Tottenham.

The headline story on Franck Kessie, titled “Kessie conquista Spalletti”, highlighted the Ivorian’s World Cup involvement with Ivory Coast and his emergence as a Juventus target appealing to coach Spalletti. Carnevali must first create space in the squad, and Kolo Muani’s €5 million salary over five years is now being discussed with Paris Saint-Germain.
