Juventus targets €12‑14m for Fabio Miretti, Bologna leads

Juventus are preparing to sell midfielder Fabio Miretti, with Bologna emerging as the most interested club and a transfer fee expected around €12‑14 million. The club must complete a sizable sale by June 30 to balance its books after missing out on Champions League qualification.

Fabio Miretti, who turns 23 in August, is a product of Juventus’ youth academy. A move would therefore generate essentially pure profit for the Bianconeri.

Bologna are in constant talks with Juventus to narrow the gap on the transfer price. Juventus are asking for roughly €12‑14 million, a figure already lower than the previously reported €20 million, while Bologna’s offer remains below that level.

The clubs have also not agreed on the transfer structure, debating a loan with an option or obligation to buy versus a permanent deal. No consensus has been reached on which condition‑triggered clause would apply.

Villarreal have been linked to Miretti, but the midfielder has expressed a preference to remain in Serie A. This stance complicates any potential move to the Spanish side.

Fiorentina are also monitoring the situation closely. Their interest adds another layer to the transfer puzzle.

Juventus’ urgency stems from the need to secure a major sale before the financial reporting deadline on June 30. The club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League has heightened the pressure to generate revenue.
