Luca Stephenson Signals Possible Summer Exit from Liverpool
Luca Stephenson has indicated he may leave Liverpool this summer. He said he will try to earn minutes on the pre‑season tour in the United States if he remains at the club.
Stephenson returned from a second loan spell at Dundee United that ended early due to injury. He logged 67 appearances for Dundee United across all competitions and scored eight goals.
The midfielder said he needs regular first‑team football and will seek a new adventure if Liverpool cannot provide it.
Championship clubs, including Bolton Wanderers, are reported to be interested. A deal around £700,000 with a sell‑on clause has been mentioned.
Liverpool’s retained list shows the club releasing academy players Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, James Balagizi, DJ Bernard, Oakley Cannonier, Josh Davidson, Terence Miles and Jacob Poytress. At the same time, Liverpool are reportedly pursuing Manchester City youngster Xavier Alexander.
