Milan Hokke eyes Union Saint‑Gilloise move while ADO seeks €2.5 m
ADO Den Haag’s 22‑year‑old defender Milan Hokke has made clear his desire to join Belgian side Union Saint‑Gilloise, despite his contract running until summer 2027. Union has tabled a €900,000 offer, while ADO’s valuation hovers around €2.5 million. The Dutch club remains firm on its price.
Hokke’s current deal expires in the summer of 2027, giving him several years of contractual security. Union Saint‑Gilloise, identified as a top Belgian club, is already active in the market for the defender.
ADO Den Haag has indicated that the €900,000 proposal falls short of its expectations, targeting a fee close to €2.5 million. The club describes this figure as a record sum for the player.
"The status is that I would like to make this step," Hokke told Omroep West. "That is known. I think you have also seen it in the media."
"It is sporting for me, a nice next step with guaranteed European football. But ultimately it is not up to me; the clubs have to reach an agreement," he added.
"I have spoken regularly with technical director Mark Wotte in recent weeks and made clear where I stand," Hokke said. He noted that ADO does not want to lose him and wants to earn from his transfer, so a realistic amount must be found.
Hokke believes a deal can be reached if a realistic fee is agreed. The next weeks will determine whether the transfer materialises.
