Milan to hold fresh talks with Oliver Glasner
Milan are set to hold a new round of talks with Oliver Glasner in the coming hours. Glasner's representatives are optimistic about reaching an agreement.
Milan are preparing a second meeting with the former Crystal Palace coach. Glasner is waiting for a second meeting with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerry Cardinale after the first summit last week. The two parties will have a new contact by tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9.
Glasner has prioritized a move to Milan and is regarded as a primary target by the Rossoneri. His entourage is confident of reaching an agreement in the upcoming meeting. Mauricio Pochettino remains a genuine candidate for the Milan job. The USMNT coach already has an agreement with the Serie A giants.
Milan sacked Massimiliano Allegri after failing to qualify for the Champions League in 2025-26. CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, and technical director Geoffrey Moncada were also dismissed. Ibrahimovic and Cardinale are now rebuilding the club's management and talking to a potential new coach.
