Nottingham Forest submits second bid for Jan Ziółkowski
Nottingham Forest has submitted a second bid to sign Roma defender Jan Ziółkowski. The Polish international arrived at Roma last summer from Legia Warsaw for €6 million.
Forest’s interest follows their first bid, which Roma rejected. The semi-finalist in the Europa League remains firm on Ziółkowski’s valuation.
Ziółkowski, 23, has made 22 Serie A appearances for Roma this season. His performances have drawn attention from multiple Premier League clubs, including Forest.
Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto confirmed the club’s stance on the defender. Forest are now assessing their next move after the latest rejection.
The potential deal could involve a fee around €20 million plus add-ons. Forest’s hierarchy is prioritizing defensive reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
A final agreement depends on Roma’s willingness to lower their asking price. Ziółkowski’s agent has been involved in facilitating discussions.
