Portugal's Under‑19 national team learned its first‑round opponents for the 2027 European Championship qualifiers. UEFA placed Portugal in Group A4 of League A alongside Sweden, Finland and Turkey. The final tournament will be hosted by Hungary. The first round will be played as mini‑tournaments at an undecided venue. Matches are scheduled for 5–13 October 2026 or, alternatively, 24 November–5 December 2026 according to the FIFA calendar. League A comprises 28 teams divided into seven groups of four. Teams finishing fourth in each group will drop to League B for the second round in spring 2027. The second round will decide the seven nations that join host Hungary at the finals.
