Rangers fans split on Danny Rohl's possible exit
Rangers supporters were asked about Danny Rohl's possible departure, with the German linked to Red Bull Salzburg.
Alex said he likes Rohl but if his heart isn’t in the Rangers job he should leave; he added Steven Gerrard would be his choice to take over.
Stuart argued the club cannot keep changing managers and should give Rohl another season; James criticised Rohl for a poor performance when it mattered and for how he treated James Tavernier in a dead‑rubber game.
Phil described Rohl as a “bang average” manager whose true level emerged after the split last season; Morris wished Rohl well and said the club needs its identity back; Chris noted that Rohl improved on Russel Martin’s mess enough to raise title hopes but failed to motivate the team post‑split, rejecting Gerrard and expressing disinclination toward McInnes.
Billy said nothing is decided yet, but if Rohl leaves he thinks Steven Gerrard would be a safe pair of hands, though many fans would be unhappy because of Gerrard’s move to Villa; he warned that more upheaval is the last thing Rangers needs.
