Real Madrid to table €150m Olise bid if Pérez re‑elected
Real Madrid will launch a €150 million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Olise if Florentino Pérez wins the club presidency. The election takes place this weekend and Pérez is favoured to defeat Enrique Riquelme.
Olise is currently a Bayern Munich midfielder. Potential new Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has been monitoring his performances.
Riquelme has pledged to sign Erling Haaland for Real Madrid. Manchester City has threatened legal action over that promise.
The €150 million offer translates to about £130 million. Real Madrid’s bid is conditioned on the election outcome.
Should Pérez secure a second term, the bid is expected to be submitted in the summer window. A defeat for Pérez would leave Olise’s transfer uncertain.
