Juventus Blocks Real Madrid Bid for Kenan Yildiz
Juventus announced that 21‑year‑old Turkish midfielder Kenan Yildiz is not for sale. Technical secretary Damien Comolli made the statement, ending speculation about a Real Madrid transfer.
Real Madrid, under president Florentino Pérez, had been linked with a move for Yildiz. The Spanish club had expressed interest in acquiring the player for the upcoming season.
Juventus currently holds Yildiz's registration. The club retains full ownership rights over the midfielder.
Yildiz signed a new contract with Juventus a few months ago. The agreement extends his stay until June 2030.
The 21‑year‑old has been part of Juventus' youth system for several years. He progressed through the club's ranks before breaking into the senior squad.
Juventus is expected to keep Yildiz as part of its long‑term plans. Real Madrid will need to explore alternative targets for its midfield reinforcements.
