Arsenal and Liverpool eye PSG winger Bradley Barcola

Bradley Barcola's future at Paris Saint-Germain has become a delicate summer issue. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be monitoring the 23‑year‑old winger. Barcola has two years remaining on his contract and talks on an extension have stalled. Paris Saint-Germain are not actively pushing him out, but they are not closed to his departure. The club wants clarity from a player who seeks more minutes in major matches. Moussa Sissoko, the agent of Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé, met Luis Campos last week. Internally, Nasser al‑Khelaïfi, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique have expressed admiration for Barcola. An internal source said, "Bradley is a super important player for us." Luis Enrique would like to keep Barcola but cannot guarantee a starring role. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could see Barcola adding direct running and one‑v‑one threat to his attack. Current Arsenal wide options include Bukayo Saka on the right and Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left. Barcola's glide, acceleration and confidence allow him to attack space before a defensive block settles. If Paris Saint-Germain become open to selling because contract talks have stalled, Arsenal should test the temperature without reckless spending. No progress is expected before the World Cup, so the transfer saga may simmer for now.
