Juventus eye Djed Spence if Cambiaso departs

Juventus are linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur full‑back Djed Spence if Andrea Cambiaso leaves the club this summer. Sporting director Marco Ottolini is reported to be the key figure in any potential deal. The Bianconeri aim to reshape the right‑back position ahead of the 2026‑27 season. The Old Lady missed Champions League qualification in 2025‑26 and plan to strengthen the squad for 2026‑27 under manager Luciano Spalletti. Reports connect Juventus with a possible signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and attackers Alexander Sorloth, Brahim Diaz and Randal Kolo Muani. Progress on those targets depends on off‑loading current first‑team players, notably Gleison Bremer, whose contract includes a €58 million release clause, and Cambiaso. Spence is familiar to Ottolini, who brought the England international to Serie A when he joined Genoa CFC in the second half of the 2023‑24 season. Like Cambiaso, Spence can operate on either flank, and his Serie A experience could ease a transition to Juventus. At Tottenham, recent arrivals Andrew Robertson and the presence of Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro may limit Spence’s playing time next season. A photo by Francesco Pecoraro captures Djed Spence during a Serie A match between US Salernitana and Genoa CFC at Stadio Arechi. Juventus will need to replace Cambiaso if the club proceeds with the full‑back swap, with Spence identified as a primary candidate.
