£10m-rated Scotland striker Bowie at heart of Sassuolo-Bologna talks
A £10 million valuation has made Kieron Bowie the centre of transfer talks involving Sassuolo and Bologna. The 23-year-old Scotland striker joined Hellas Verona in January but could leave Serie B after relegation.
Sassuolo have joined Bologna in holding discussions with relegated Hellas Verona about Bowie’s future. The Scotland international arrived at Verona in the winter transfer window and now faces an uncertain path in Italy’s second tier.
Celtic are also monitoring the market for strikers, with Norwegian Tobias Lauritsen linked alongside former Rangers loanee Mikey Moore. Sparta Rotterdam released Lauritsen, while Moore spent last season on loan at Rangers and is now sought by Borussia Dortmund, Cologne and PSV Eindhoven on loan.
Scotland defender Jack Hendry has secured a new two-year contract with Al Ettifaq, becoming the country’s highest-paid international. The 31-year-old centre-half agreed terms with the Saudi club after a successful move abroad.
Celtic plan to open contract talks with Anthony Ralston, the 27-year-old Scotland right-back, whose current deal is in its final year. The club’s interest follows their pursuit of multiple attacking options.

The move would add another attacking option under Brendan Rodgers. Orgryte sports director Pontus Farnerud confirmed interest in Celtic-linked defender Michael Parker but declined to state whether an offer had been made. The 21-year-old is valued at £1.5 million by his club.
