Feyenoord eye loan for surplus striker Jaden Slory to Willem II
Feyenoord are preparing to send 21‑year‑old striker Jaden Slory on loan to Eredivisie side Willem II this season, with the Rotterdam club reportedly awaiting a proposal from the Tilburg outfit. Slory, who is under contract until the summer of 2029, has already spent time on loan at Go Ahead Eagles and FC Dordrecht.
Insiders expect Willem II to submit their offer soon, and the forward returned to training at De Kuip this week to complete his first sessions under manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst. The club is keen to secure a loan that will give the 21‑year‑old regular minutes.
During his recent half‑year spell at Go Ahead Eagles, Slory accumulated significant playing time and continued his development. He returned from that loan having gained valuable experience in the Dutch second tier.
"Within Feyenoord we are again looking at the best next step for the youth international, with a new loan being a possibility," the report noted. The statement reflects the club’s ongoing assessment of Slory’s career pathway.
Previously, Slory was loaned to FC Dordrecht in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, where he signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2029 in Rotterdam. The attacker featured in 38 matches for Dordrecht, scoring twelve goals and providing ten assists.
For Feyenoord, Slory has appeared in seven matches, delivering one assist, while his fifteen appearances for Go Ahead Eagles yielded no goals. Transfermarkt currently values the forward at €700,000.
Willem II are expected to formalise their proposal in the coming days, a move that could grant Slory consistent first‑team action ahead of the next campaign. The loan would also free up space for Feyenoord’s attacking options.
