Flick counts on Raphinha staying despite Saudi interest

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is counting on 29‑year‑old Brazilian winger Raphinha to remain a central figure for the club’s 2026/27 campaign. Despite renewed interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al‑Hilal and Al‑Nassr, the club says the player is fully committed to staying at Spotify Camp Nou.

Al‑Hilal and Al‑Nassr have been linked with Raphinha in recent transfer windows, reflecting growing speculation about a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia. Barcelona have received no indication that the winger is considering an exit at this stage.

According to Mundo Deportivo, neither Barcelona nor Flick have any concerns regarding Raphinha’s situation. The club continues to view him as a key part of their plans for the upcoming season.

Sporting director Deco and Flick are both counting heavily on Raphinha for the 2026/27 campaign. They believe the player wants to continue his journey at Barcelona for a fifth season.

The report adds that Barcelona would only entertain negotiations if an exceptional offer arrived. In such a scenario, the club would demand a massive transfer fee before parting with one of its most influential attackers.

Raphinha has remained focused on his commitments with the Brazil national team. He has not communicated any desire to leave Barcelona.

With confidence from both the coaching staff and the sporting director, all signs point towards Raphinha staying at Barcelona. He is expected to feature prominently as the club pursues its ambitions for the next campaign.
