Anderlecht unveils purple home kits, updates coaching search
RSC Anderlecht unveiled its first home kits under a new Adidas partnership, featuring a full purple design with a white collar and Adidas stripes. CEO Kenneth Bornauw confirmed the club has spoken to two coaching candidates during the kit launch.
The club’s record champions selected purple to mark the start of their new Adidas era, replacing previous kit suppliers. The home shirt includes the traditional white collar and three Adidas stripes on the sleeves, maintaining a classic aesthetic.
Bornauw addressed the coaching vacancy created by the departure of previous manager. He stated the club has already held discussions with two potential replacements, though no final decision has been made.
The new kits will debut in competitive matches under the new technical staff once appointed. Bornauw did not name the candidates during the presentation.
The club also revealed the away and third kits are in development, expected to follow the same design philosophy.
