Mourinho hails Roma’s passion on Beast Mode On podcast

José Mourinho appeared as a guest on the ‘Beast Mode On’ podcast hosted by former England striker Adebayo Akinfenwa, where he reflected on his tenure at Roma and the club’s recent Conference League victory. He also watched a video of three Giallorossi supporters thanking him for the triumph.

Mourinho said he would replay one specific match from his career. “Which match from the past would I replay? The Europa League final between Roma and Sevilla, but with a different referee,” he explained.

Mourinho also opened up about his biggest regrets during the interview. He linked those regrets to his recollections of his period at Roma.

Mourinho expressed pride in the Conference League triumph, saying, “One of the achievements I’m most proud of? When we won the Conference League with Roma, that city went crazy.” He emphasized how the win resonated throughout Rome.

Mourinho described Rome as a city where people are “truly, truly, truly in love with that club.” He called Roma “a huge club, with incredible passion” and called the experience “absolutely extraordinary.”
