PSV's Isaac Babadi faces another loan after first-team exclusion
Rik Elfrink, PSV clubwatcher for Eindhovens Dagblad, states 21-year-old Isaac Babadi will not feature for the Eindhoven side next season. PSV opted against extending Babadi’s involvement with the first team.
Babadi spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Belgian club Royal Antwerp. His stint included minimal pitch time, primarily as an unused substitute during the second half of the season.
The midfielder joined Royal Antwerp in January 2024 after PSV secured his services from Ajax in summer 2022. His tenure at PSV has seen limited first-team opportunities despite being part of the squad.
Elfrink’s assessment signals Babadi’s likely return to a loan arrangement for the upcoming season. No return to training with PSV’s senior group is anticipated.
The midfielder’s future now hinges on securing another temporary move abroad, with no immediate pathway to regular football at PSV.
