Real Madrid faces €90m price for Mateus Fernandes

Real Madrid have been quoted with a price tag of over €90 million for midfielder Mateus Fernandes. Both Arsenal and Manchester United have also made enquiries about the 21‑year‑old. West Ham, the current owners of Mateus Fernandes, set the €90 million valuation after his performances in a relegated season. The midfielder joined West Ham from Southampton in the summer of 2025 for €45 million, and Southampton retain a 15 percent future‑sale clause. Arsenal and Manchester United have been met with the same price demand, creating a potential bidding war with two Premier League heavyweights. Perez is also planning to spend at least €150 million on an additional marquee signing.
