Roma's €40m floor on Pisilli pits club ambition against suitors' offers
After the June 30 deadline, AS Roma have placed a €40 million minimum price on midfielder Niccolò Pisilli, confirming the club’s resolve to keep the 2004‑born talent despite growing interest from major clubs and to secure his future at the Trigoria base.
AS Roma confirmed that all key players, including Pisilli, were retained after the transfer window closed. The Giallorossi will not consider offers below €40 million.
At Trigoria, the 2004‑born midfielder is seen as a key asset for the club. Gian Piero Gasperini has described Pisilli as a key player.
Pisilli featured at a high level in the second half of the season. His performances have attracted interest from several major clubs. The feeling is that other teams could make a move this summer.
Eleonora Trotta of calciomercato.it reported that Roma have no intention of selling Pisilli and are working to secure his future. Roma’s policy indicates they will only entertain bids that meet the €40 million threshold.
If clubs submit offers meeting the floor, negotiations could intensify, but Roma’s firm price may deter lower‑valued suitors. The summer market will reveal whether the price tag holds.
