Rosenior and Beye vie for Paris FC as Kombouaré exits

Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior and Habib Beye are the leading candidates to replace Antoine Kombouaré at Paris FC. The club’s shortlist has been finalised as Kombouaré prepares to leave, with Rosenior emerging as the preferred option. Kombouaré arrived at Paris FC at the end of February and guided the team to an 11th-place finish, 12 points clear of the relegation play-off spot. His departure follows a steadying of the ship during his brief tenure. Rosenior, who previously managed RC Strasbourg Alsace, was also in contention for the OGC Nice role, now filled by Olivier Pantaloni. His short stint at Chelsea is understood to have influenced his decision to pause his managerial career. Habib Beye, currently at Olympique de Marseille, remains in the frame despite internal doubts about his candidacy. Walid Regragui, who led Morocco to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup, is not being considered for the Paris FC position. Le Parisien Regragui’s name was discussed but ultimately ruled out. The club’s search for a new manager continues as Kombouaré’s exit nears completion. The shortlist was compiled after Kombouaré’s arrival stabilised Paris FC’s league position. His departure leaves a vacancy that Rosenior and Beye are now positioned to fill.
