Sabri Lamouchi to be sacked after Sweden loss

Sabri Lamouchi is expected to be relieved as Tunisia head coach in the coming hours, per journalist Romain Molina. The decision follows the Eagles of Carthage's 5-1 defeat to Sweden in their World Cup opener. The loss marked Tunisia's third consecutive defeat and raised the total goals conceded to 11. Lamouchi, who took charge in January, has recorded only one win—a 1-0 victory over Haiti—out of five matches. Assistant Wahbi Khazri may assume interim charge, while former manager Mondher Kebaier is linked with a possible return. Tunisia sit fourth in Group F and must improve against Japan and the Netherlands to keep knockout hopes alive. The report was filed by Léo Aschi.
