Tchouameni says dressing room calm after Valverde clash
Aurelien Tchouameni said the dressing room is calm after his fight with Federico Valverde at Real Madrid. He told l’Equipe that false media stories were the main issue.
Tchouameni explained that after Valverde returned from an injury lay‑off they shook hands and continued training together. He added they have not yet played together because Valverde missed the last league match due to a muscle issue.
The French midfielder said the noise lasted a few days but then faded, emphasizing that problems are not as big as they seem. He noted that the situation is now resolved.
The incident occurred amid a turbulent 2025‑26 season for Real Madrid, which also saw Xabi Alonso’s dressing‑room problems, his departure, and Alvaro Arbeloa’s issues with some players.
