Barcelona sign forward Gordon as Flick seeks striker

Barcelona have completed the signing of forward Gordon.

Coach Flick's current priorities are adding a striker and a left‑footed defender.

Flick had favoured a centre‑back but indications point to a full‑back, depending on the uncertain continuity of Cancelo.

No midfield arrivals or departures have been announced.

The midfield pool includes Pedri, Gavi, De Jong, Bernal, Casadó, Olmo and Fermín, eight players for four roles.

The club's willingness to consider Casadó therefore appears difficult to understand.
