Endrick stresses: No intention to leave Real Madrid

Endrick has not yet received a real opportunity at Real Madrid this season and is at the centre of growing speculation about his future. The 20‑year‑old Brazilian, however, has made a clear decision: for now he does not want to leave the club and is fighting for his place.

His agent Thiago Freitas spoke clearly about the rumours in an interview with 365Scores. “Endrick has not asked to leave the club, and he never told me that he wants to look for another opportunity to play. Everything that is being said about it is completely false,” Freitas said. Freitas gave his word that the rumours are unfounded.

Freitas also emphasized that no talks are currently taking place regarding a transfer of the Brazilian to another club. The player himself wants to fight for his place at Real. The rumours mainly concern the striker’s future.

Endrick’s situation is, however, not easy. After his return from the loan to Lyon, the 20‑year‑old missed part of the pre‑season due to a muscle injury and has not yet logged a competitive minute for Real this season.

Endrick’s comeback forces Real Madrid to rethink Brahim Díaz’s role

Fight for a starting place in the attacking centre

In the attacking centre he has to compete with Kylian Mbappé and Carlos Espí, while coach José Mourinho also has Arda Güler, Brahim Díaz and Yan Diomande available on the right side.

Real did not want to let Endrick go already in the summer; José Mourinho is said to have blocked his departure, and the player himself also did not push for a transfer.

If his situation does not change by January, the topic of a loan could become relevant again. At present the player’s stance remains clear: he wants to stay in Madrid and fight for his chance.
