Felix Nmecha reaches €65 million – now only behind Toni Kroos
In the Dortmund stadium, where Felix Nmecha most recently dominated the midfield, his market value in the current Bundesliga update jumped from €55 million to €65 million. This makes him the most valuable BVB professional player and moves him into the top‑15 of the historically most expensive Germans, which have been tracked by Transfermarkt since 2004.
New highs and rankings
Nmecha's rise leaves him only five million euros behind Toni Kroos, whose market value has been €80 million since January 2018. At the same time, Kevin Schade and Said El Mala reach the €50 million mark, a level that so far has been achieved by only 30 German footballers and puts them on par with former World Cup hero Mesut Özil.
In the ranking of the most valuable Germans, Aleksandar Pavlović sits at the top with €90 million, followed by Florian Wirtz (€100 million in December 2024) and Jamal Musiala (€80 million after a drop of €20 million). The third place belongs to Leroy Sané, who in 2018 became the first German at Manchester City to break the €100 million mark.
Other German top values
The top‑10 is completed by Kai Havertz, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry and Marc Ter Stegen, each with €90 million, as well as Timo Werner and Toni Kroos, both with €80 million. In addition to the mentioned players, Nathaniel Brown, Nick Woltemade, Malick Thiaw and Yann Bisseck also sit at a level of roughly €50 million.
German press turns on Joey Veerman after disappointing Dortmund show
Mario Götze, hero of the 2014 World Cup final, stands at €85 million, only five million euros behind the current national team players, and reached his career‑high of €55 million in 2014 with FC Bayern.
