Four top clubs bid Raphinha €27 million, Barcelona wants to keep him

In Manchester, Arsenal, Chelsea and Al‑Hilal are fighting for the Brazilian winger Raphinha, while he says according to El Nacional that he would rather stay at FC Barcelona, where a new contract worth up to 27 million euros gross per year is being negotiated. The 29‑year‑old is under contract until June 2028, and Barcelona plans to extend the duration by two years.

Financial offers from the rivals

Four top clubs – Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Al‑Hilal – want to pay the Brazilian a higher salary than Barcelona. According to El Nacional, the new offer is around 27 million euros gross per year, and it concerns contract terms rather than an immediate transfer.

FC Barcelona wants to extend the existing agreement by another two years and increase the player's salary. Sporting director Deco said on September 19 that the talks are already far advanced and only formalities remain to be settled. The new contract has not yet been made public.

Raphinha himself recently told radio station RAC1 that he would like to extend his contract and even finish his career at Barcelona. This statement strengthens Barcelona's position in the negotiation process.

The 29‑year‑old has started the season brilliantly: in his first eight games he scored 14 goals, twelve of them in the league, and after a positional shift by Hansi Flick delivered two consecutive hat‑tricks.

The interested clubs hope that the signing of the new contract is delayed, but Barcelona and the player emphasise their desire for further cooperation. So far none of the offers has changed the player's stance.
