Transfer confirmed
Galatasaray SK announced on local time 30 August that the 27‑year‑old forward had completed a full‑fee move from AC Milan, ending his seven‑year spell in Italy. The Turkish Süper Lig side described the signing as a major boost to their attacking options.
Leon arrived at Milan in August 2019 from French club Lille, having already earned caps for the Portugal national team. His arrival was part of Milan’s rebuilding phase under the then‑new management.

In June 2023, Leon extended his contract with Milan until 30 June 2028, but the agreement was terminated by mutual consent to enable his move to Turkey.
