Great praise for Kane: England triumphs, but group remains open
On Tuesday, the English national team defeated Czechia in the UEFA Nations League 3-0, with Bayern striker Harry Kane once again leading the team to victory. While his teammates showered him with exuberant praise, England remains only second in its group after the third win.
Praise and Records for Kane
After the win, Kane's teammates immediately launched into exuberant praise. Jude Bellingham, formerly of Borussia Dortmund and now a midfielder for Real Madrid, said: “He is the best English player to ever wear this shirt.”
Coach Thomas Tuchel was also enthusiastic. In an interview with ITV he described Kane as “a legend of English football” and as “an inspiration for young people”.
At Wembley Stadium, Kane broke Peter Shilton's record with his 125th international appearance. In doing so he overtook the legendary goalkeeper and cemented his place in England's history.

The record scorer added to his tally with goals in his 90th and 91st internationals. With consistent form he could soon surpass the 100‑goal mark for his country.
England ended the international break in second place in the Nations League group. The team won three matches, including a 2-0 and a 3-0 against Czechia as well as a 7-0 victory over Croatia.
Spain topped the group with a perfect points tally after a hard‑fought 3-2 win over England. Croatia finished third, while Czechia ended the table without any points.
