Leizpig reveals its connected toilets before clash with Bayern Munich
Defender Benjamin Henrichs led a tour of RB Leipzig's training centre before the Bundesliga match against Bayern Munich, showcasing the connected toilets that analyze players' urine in real time.
A technology inspired by a traffic light
In the video posted on Benjamin Henrichs' YouTube channel, the former player turned influencer showed the toilets where a light turns on as soon as the urination ends: green if everything is fine, yellow if the player needs to drink soon, red if he is clearly dehydrated.

Henrichs explained that the red signal indicates you need to drink immediately, the yellow reminds you to hydrate soon, and the green means the water balance is optimal. He added that the system “is really good.”
Goal: preventing ailments
The club says that staying properly hydrated each day helps players avoid headaches and, especially, reduces cramps on the pitch, a crucial advantage in the battle against the Bavarian giant.
RB Leipzig, fifth in the Bundesliga with three wins in the first five matchdays, hopes that this attention to detail will contribute to a good result at the Allianz Arena and confirm its nice start to the season.
