Michael Olise, the 24‑year‑old Bayern Munich midfielder, is one assist shy of Pelé’s single‑World‑Cup record after delivering five assists in France’s 3‑0 round‑of‑16 win over Sweden at the 2026 tournament, while Germany and the Netherlands already exited the competition earlier.
