RDC referee Tabitha Botendra’s suspension lifted after two months

The Congolese refereeing body has lifted Tabitha Botendra’s 12‑month suspension, meaning immediate relief for the RDC officiating community and a swift return to duty for the referee after only two months away from the pitch, she is cleared to resume officiating Linafoot matches.

The Commission Nationale des Arbitres (C.N.A.) announced the decision to cancel the sanction that had weighed on Tabitha Botendra.

12‑month suspension stemming from Vita Club clash

Initially she was suspended for a period of 12 months because of the damage caused during the Vita Club – FC Les Aigles match last season in the national championship.

Despite the original length, the penalty was lifted after just two months of exclusion from the fields.

With the sanction removed, the official is now fully restored to her functions and receives immediate clearance to take the whistle again.

She is authorised to officiate upcoming Linafoot fixtures, bringing her experience back to the national championship.
