Top talent Arsenal makes history with three Guinness World Records
Arsenal talent Max Dowman (16) was celebrated this week after he has three Guinness World Records to his name, including the youngest Premier League winner on 19 May, when he was 16 years and 144 days old. He achieved the record during Arsenal’s first league title in 22 years, a feat that also earned him the youngest Champions League debut record.
Youngest Premier League winner and goal scorer
Dowman was 16 years and 73 days old when he scored his first Premier League goal against Everton on 14 March, making him the youngest scorer in the competition. This milestone came just two months after achieving the title record, underscoring his rapid rise.
Youngest Champions League player and club statistics
On 4 November 2025, Dowman made his Champions League debut against Slavia Prague at 15 years and 308 days old, becoming the youngest player ever in the tournament, a record previously held by Youssoufa Moukoko who was 75 days older. To date, he has played fifteen official matches for Arsenal, scored three goals, provided one assist, and even recorded a brace in the Carabao Cup against Ipswich Town on 15 September.

This season he featured for only nine minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion, but his impact remains noticeable thanks to the two cup goals and his versatile deployment.
Guinness World Records recognition and future
For his achievements Dowman received three Guinness World Record certificates: youngest Premier League winner, youngest Premier League scorer and youngest Champions League player. Senior editor Tom Beckerlegge of Guinness World Records said: “The youngest player on our list, Max, embodies what the Class of ’27 stands for. Three records before his seventeenth birthday is extraordinary.”
Arsenal is open to a potential loan deal to further his development, while he has also been included in the Guinness Football Edition 2027 Class of ’27, alongside names such as Lamine Yamal and Erling Haaland.
