Tuchel Confirms England’s Heat Preparation with Team GB Support

Thomas Tuchel said England are prepared for the heat ahead of the World Cup. He confirmed that Team GB provided assistance in developing weather solutions. The 26‑player squad departed Birmingham for Miami on Monday for a ten‑day hot‑weather acclimatisation camp.

Tuchel described heat and humidity as obstacles the team must overcome. He expressed full belief in the squad’s ability to progress far in the tournament. Olympic specialists from Team GB were consulted to devise adaptation strategies.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze received additional recovery time after Saturday’s Champions League final. Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who featured in the Conference League final last week, will join the camp later.

The Miami camp will run for ten days. Tuchel expects the heat preparation to boost England’s performance at the upcoming World Cup.
