Zielinski declares Inter the strongest: Marotta and Akanji aim for the treble

In the silence of the Gentleman award stage, Piotr Zielinski raised his voice, emphasizing the concept that Inter is still the team to beat. The Polish player declared: “We are a great team, the one to beat,” while the crowd of executives and journalists listened.

Shared ambition at all levels

President Beppe Marotta, on the same theme, recalled the 2010 treble and stated that “the right is to dream.” His statement was welcomed by Manuel Akanji, who ruled out any compromise: “We will try to win everything.”

When asked whether he would sign for the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia, Akanji replied decisively: “No, I won’t sign. I want to win everything.”

Coach Cristian Chivu, cited by Zielinski as “a great person and an excellent coach,” also received praise from Akanji, who highlighted his ability to manage the group and bring out the best from the players.

Inter, led by Chivu, does not want to choose between the league, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League, but aims to win all three trophies. After the recent home defeat to Real Madrid, the club reiterated its ability to bounce back even after difficult starts.

The next European objective is to get past the playoffs lost last year against Bodø/Glimt, demonstrating that the team can compete at the highest continental level.
