BBH Handball Team Delayed 10 Hours After Nice Victory
BBH handball team was delayed at the airport for more than 10 hours after their 32-22 win in Nice. Flight problems forced the squad to miss its scheduled travel. The delay pushed back the team's training ahead of the title clash on Sunday.
The midweek fixture in Nice concluded with BBH beating their opponents 32-22. The win secured BBH's place in the championship decider. The result was recorded before the travel disruption began.
Airport officials reported technical issues with the aircraft serving the BBH delegation. The problems caused a stand‑still lasting over ten hours. Players remained at the terminal until a replacement flight was arranged.
Because of the prolonged wait, BBH postponed its training session that was planned for the following day. The revised session will take place two days before the final. The change leaves limited preparation time for the upcoming match.
The title match pits BBH against Sambre on 31 May at 15:00. Both clubs will contest the championship after the disrupted travel. The schedule remains unchanged despite the logistical setback.
