Paul Robinson slams Tottenham after Chelsea loss
Tottenham were defeated by Chelsea on Tuesday, with former goalkeeper Paul Robinson describing the performance as passive and lacking fight, endeavour and belief.
The loss leaves Spurs without the point they needed to virtually secure Premier League survival. A draw would have been enough to guarantee safety.
Tottenham now face Everton at home in their final league match. They hold a two‑point cushion over West Ham, who sit third from bottom.
West Ham, managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, remain in danger of relegation. The gap means the final round could decide their fate.
The defeat was described as damaging, echoing Tottenham's display four weeks earlier. Robinson noted the similarity between the two performances.
With survival still at stake, Tottenham will look to recover points against Everton, while West Ham will aim to close the gap in the last game.
