Aron Yaakobishvili draws interest after Hungary debut
Barcelona goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili has become a transfer target after becoming the youngest ever to debut for Hungary’s senior national side in a 2-1 win over Finland.
The 19‑year‑old spent the previous campaign on loan at FC Andorra before returning to Barcelona, where he remains under contract until 2028.
Barcelona’s current hierarchy lists Joan Garcia as first‑choice goalkeeper, while Wojciech Szczesny’s role is uncertain and Inaki Pena and Marc‑Andre ter Stegen are not part of long‑term plans.
Coach Hansi Flick is expected to evaluate Yaakobishvili during pre‑season, but regular senior minutes are unlikely at Barcelona, prompting consideration of another loan.
FC Andorra have expressed a desire to take him back for another season, and several La Liga clubs and foreign sides are also reported to be monitoring the goalkeeper.
