Artem Dovbyk attracts interest from Milan and Fiorentina
Artem Dovbyk is expected to leave AS Roma after the club confirmed interest from AC Milan and ACF Fiorentina. The Ukrainian striker is no longer in Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans, according to reports.
Last season Dovbyk fell behind Ferguson in the pecking order and suffered a myotendinous tear in his left thigh that required surgery. The injury sidelined him for the entire second half of the campaign, with his only appearance coming in the derby against SS Lazio.
Nicolò Schirà noted that Roma must off‑load Dovbyk despite the €40 million fee paid two years earlier, which could force a capital loss. Ekrem Konur added that Milan and Fiorentina have already inquired about the forward. Dovbyk finished the season with three goals and two assists in 627 minutes of play.
The club also plans to part ways with Venturino, El Shaarawy and Ferguson, all of whom contributed little to Gasperini’s side last term.
